The DSR drives to retail locations and conducts field service visits to Lottery Retailers within their assigned territory each day to ensure direct contact is maintained with retailers and to provide assistance and guidance to maximize sales/marketing of Lottery products.
DSR staff help the Lottery meet our mission to maximize supplemental funding for public education within the State of California.
Incumbents must possess a valid California driver's license and drive safely and responsibly.
This positions territory will be located in Orange and Los Angeles Counties.
Desirable Qualifications In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
Experience working in a sales route or territory.
Business-to-business sales history.
Experience working with sales data and creating a sales plan for a retailer.
Experience conducting presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
Experience merchandising product or promotional material.
Experience using Software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).
