Job Description:
Work With Dogs! Looking for full-time group dog handlers, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts.
Training period pay:
minimum wage for 4 initial assessment shifts, then $17/hour with reviews at the end of a 30-shift training period or before if skills mastered.
Staff can bring personal dogs to work after 90 days.
Reliability and solid communication skills a must.
Supervise groups of social dogs in play Learn dog behavior and dog psychology Learn Positive Reinforcement techniques for handling with kindness and love Clean play areas and rooms Prep meals and feed Must be able to work 6-8 hours on your feet with repeated hinging at the waist Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds Must be able to read and write at a 12th-grade level Write daily notes about dogs Our most successful and happy staff embody the following qualities:
