What you will be doing As a Production Supervisor at our beverage facility, you'll be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of beverage production.
Your role will involve managing production schedules, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and optimizing operational efficiency.
You'll supervise production staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations and consistent product quality.
Additionally, you'll collaborate with other departments such as quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics to streamline processes, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that our beverage production meets demand while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
The position will be based in Richmond CA.
The anticipated salary range for the position is $90, 000 - $100,000.
Main responsibilities Production Oversight:
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all production processes.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Staff Supervision:
Lead, supervise, and support production associates.
Compose and deliver performance evaluations.
Corrective action notices and provide constructive feedback.
Quality Control:
Train, monitor, and enforce quality control standards.
Address and rectify issues affecting product quality.
Inventory Management:
Track, manage, and audit raw materials and finished goods inventory.
Coordinate with the supply chain to optimize stock levels.
Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose scalable solutions.
Implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Safety Compliance:
Enforce and promote safety protocols.
Conduct regular safety training for production personnel.
Communication:
Effectively collaborate with site cross-functional partners.

Training and Development:
Train new production employees.
Provide ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Problem Resolution:
Address and resolve production-related issues promptly.

Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
(OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, etc.
) Keep abreast of industry regulations and update procedures accordingly.
Equipment Maintenance:
Coordinate maintenance schedules for production equipment.
Address equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Generate reports for management on production metrics.

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and
Experience:
Two (2) or more years of leadership experience in a production environment.
One (1) or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles.
Strong leadership background - ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce.
Ability to manage and develop employees.
Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, - PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.
