PD Search If a career ladder position This is a developmental position leading to the full performance level of GS-12. Closer supervision and technical guidance and/or on-the-job training are provided. Duties are gradually broadened so the incumbent is eventually performing all of the duties of the full performance level, position description number 99K110. The incumbent provides SSA regional and field office components the ceiling and budget control necessary to administer SSA programs and the management advisory services for utilizing these resources. Reviews that fiscal policies are carried out in the region; studies whether field facilities are achieving regional program goals in relation to resources expended and recommends improvements in fiscal practices; recommends staffing levels for components; conducts studies on cost benefit and effectiveness. For GS-11:
Fifty-two weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 grade level. Examples of specialized experience include:
(1) Monitoring budget allocation and expenditures; (2) Analyzing budget and recommend improvements on cost-effectiveness; and 3)communicating effectively in writing and orally to brief management and prepare written documents. For GS-12:
Fifty-two weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level. Examples of specialized experience include:
(1) Preparing budget and managing financial resources; (2) Gathering data and conducting studies to make recommendations on budget and expenditures; and (3)communicating effectively in writing and orally to brief senior officials and prepare written documents. Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Applicants for promotion to the GS-11 must have 52 weeks at GS-9. Applicants for promotion to the GS-12 must have 52 weeks at GS-11. Time in grade requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
